The latest: Wholesale pharmacies open in Perth

AUBURN PORTUGAL, Australia — Walgreens Pharmacy will be the only pharmacy in the country opening its doors on Thursday, January 20.

The new pharmacy will be a standalone pharmacy, as well as an independent pharmacy, in the heart of the city, near the Westpac Stadium, which will allow it to take advantage of its wide network of pharmacy services.

It will also allow the pharmacy to serve its customers on a much wider spectrum of prescription medicines and other items.

WalGreens will be open seven days a week, 365 days a year.

In a statement, the company said it would be able to offer the same services to a wider range of patients, from people with chronic health conditions to the young and the elderly.

“The pharmacy will also offer an extended range of products and services, including prescriptions, lab tests, tests for allergies, skin care, cosmetics, health products, dental products, beauty and home remedies,” it said.

Walgreens has been a fixture in Perth’s shopping centre for decades, opening up its pharmacy at the corner of Bannister and Princes Street in the 1980s.

As well as pharmacy services, the pharmacy also has a large medical department, which is currently in a transition phase, and will be in a new building, the first of its kind in Australia.

After two years of construction, Walgreens will open at 11am on Thursday.

With more than 700 stores around the world, the Perth-based chain has more than 70,000 outlets worldwide.

According to Walgwarts CEO Mike Kwan, opening a new pharmacy in Perth will enable the chain to be more responsive to local demand.

This means customers will have a choice of different medicines and different products to choose from, which we are very proud of, he said.

“We believe this is a really great opportunity for the community, as it will allow us to serve the needs of the community and the people of Perth better than any other pharmacy in Australia,” Mr Kwan said.
