The pharmacy giant is rolling out a new advertising campaign that focuses on helping consumers find the best pharmacy for their needs.
The campaign, dubbed Wegman Health & Care, features a slew of pharmacy related ads that highlight the importance of having access to the best pharmacists in the world.
The company’s latest effort comes as it struggles to attract new employees to its pharmacy operations.
It has lost over 400 positions since last year, according to a report by The Hill.
The company also said it will open a new pharmacy at a newly built building in downtown Phoenix that will serve the needs of the rapidly growing number of Phoenix-area pharmacy employees.
“This is a great opportunity for us to make sure that we can bring new talent to our company, and that’s exactly what we’re doing,” Wegma said in a statement.
It’s the latest sign that the company is working to expand its reach and build up its presence in the Phoenix area.
In November, the company hired a number of veteran pharmacy technicians as part of its expansion efforts in Phoenix, adding more than 400 positions.
Wegmania has also opened an office in Austin, Texas, where it is looking to expand.
