The new Spartans pharmacy, at 12th and Walnut Streets, is scheduled to open on September 5, according to a press release from Spartens owner, Spalco.
The news was announced in a video from the company’s website.
In the video, the owner describes the company as a “small boutique pharmacy specializing in small-batch, premium products.”
The company has already completed the pre-licensing process for the location, and is working with Spalcom to prepare the building for construction.
The company hopes to open the Sparco Pharmacy on September 6, and plans to open a second store on September 15, 2019, according the press release.
This will be the second location for the company in the Philadelphia area, after it opened its first location in East Philadelphia in 2017.
Spalco, which was founded in 2006 by David E. Wills and Peter H. Smith, was founded on the idea of providing health care for the poor, according its website.
Spanax is a health care company that has over 15,000 employees in more than 100 countries and employs more than 12,000.
