A woman who survived being diagnosed with cancer has posted on social media how she was given an opportunity to give back by giving back to the community.
The post was shared on the Instagram account @stinkyfoods, which has more than 8,000 followers.
The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said she had been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and she was forced to live on a low income.
“I had a bad case of pneumonia and my mom got me on antibiotics for the pneumonia,” the woman said.
“So I started to have an allergic reaction and then I got an infection.
I got it from my grandma and then from a random food vendor that came by.”
“I went out and ate a whole chocolate bar and I drank a whole milk chocolate milk milk drink and I went to the doctor and they prescribed antibiotics for my pneumonia,” she said.
The hospital told her to take a blood test and they gave her a vaccine and she is now back on her feet and eating her chocolate again.
The person who shared the post said she wanted to give her “back” to the local community.
“For me, I feel like I’m giving back by helping the community out.
I think that’s the best way I can describe it,” the person said.
Ms D, who has cancer and has been in hospital for the last seven months, said the community was great and the food was always good.
“It’s not a bad place.
The people are always nice.
I love seeing all these people out there, and they are so welcoming,” she explained.
They don’t take the time to prepare.””
The food is always fresh, so they’re always prepared and they don’t make you wait.
