‘It’s a long, long road’: How the ACC, NCAA and SEC will shape North Carolina’s 2018-19 schedule

NC State coach Larry Fedora has said the Wolfpack are considering playing the Tar Heels at home this weekend, though he didn’t give an exact date.

North Carolina has the first three of its four ACC games at home on Saturday.

However, the Wolfpacks would have to play their home opener on Saturday and a neutral site matchup with Florida State on Monday.

The Seminoles have the second two of its three ACC games on Saturday, with home contests against Georgia Tech and Georgia and a nonconference game against Miami at ACC Network Park.

The Wolfpack and Seminoles will meet again in 2019 at ACC Media Days, though the Seminoles and Wolfpack will be back in action for the 2019 season.

The Wolfpack would be favored to win the ACC Tournament, though it would be a difficult task.

It’s possible the Wolf Pack could finish in the bottom three of the conference.

If they did, then it would almost certainly be the third straight year that the Tarheels would be in the ACC tournament.

Currently, the Tarletes are ranked No. 9 in the Associated Press preseason poll.

They also have a chance to go deep into the NCAA tournament with a win over the Eagles.

In 2019, the Falcons will have to face a top-10 team to make the NCAA Tournament, which is a tall order.

North Carolina would be the ninth team to have an opening-round loss this season.

The Tarheel’s lone loss came in the second round against Florida State.
